Welcome to AAC QLD.
Aerobatics
Is the practice of
flying manoeuvres involving aircraft attitudes
that are not
used in normal flight.
We are a not for profit sporting
club based at the Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield
in the beautiful Brisbane Valley located in South East
Queensland, Australia approximately 5nm from the small
country township of Toogoolawah, an easy 1 to 1½ hours drive
from the state's capital city Brisbane.
The Australian Aerobatic Club
Queensland Chapter was formed to foster interest in the sport
of aerobatics by providing opportunities to train and compete.
For pilots and non-pilots the club also provides
opportunities to learn and practice the judging techniques of
competition aerobatics.
The club is one of the
Home Base Groups at the airfield with a fully functional club
house, permanent aerobatic box, with coaching, and social
events. Once a month there are scheduled practice days (check
out the Events Calendar), Mini,
State and National Competitions are held through out the
year.
Please take the time have a look
around the website and hopefully we will see you at Watts
Bridge!
